EDUCATION: The Trust educates two children in a nearby English Medium School. In addition, the Trust also renders financial assistance to other deserving poor students, though not living in the ‘Home’. The Trust, along with another sister Trust by the name of Sri Ramani Ranganayaki Trust, has recently started a Nursery & Primary School in the Village of Aduthurai to provide value based quality education, at a greatly subsidized cost, to the rural children whose parents are agricultural laborers with a measly montly income.

REACHING GOD:

The Trust has put up an Dyana Mandapam, where Sri Lalitha Maha Thripura Sundari, in the Poorna Mahameru form, is being worshipped with great reverence. There is also a Sri Poorna Anugraha Ganapathy temple and a Panchamukha Anjaneya inside Thriveni illam. The elders are constantly encouraged to pray for their salvation and for the welfare of the entire humanity. Holy men visit the ‘Home’ regularly to give solace to the wards. Bhajans and Pujas are organized periodically and all festivals are observed to bring cheer to the elders. When the inevitable happens and the end comes, after all possible medical attention has been given, the destitute elders are cremated by the Trust, with dignity and honour.

EXPANDED ACTIVITY:

With the Pallavaram Project almost complete, the Trust has turned its attention to more developmental work in Aduthurai, the village adopted by both Sri Poorna Mahameru Trust and Sri Ramani Ranganayaki Trust. The Trust has already conducted an eye camp at the village, with the help of Sankara Eye Clinic, Coimbatore, when over 300 villages were screened and 79 of them operated to restore vision. The Trust has also provided, in association with the local Panchayat 23 toilets in the residences of some of the villagers, under the Government Scheme “Veettirkor Kashippidam’. Another 170 homes are proposed to be covered in the near future.

The other projects envisaged at Aduthurai are:
A Free home for about 40 elderly destitute as in Pallavaram
A senior citizens home with 12 rooms for occupation by paying guests.
10 apartments initially to provide accommodation to teachers to be hired from outside to serve in the school started.
A Bala-Balaji temple in three tiers, where worship will be done to Sahasralingam, Shri Lalitha Maha Thipurasundari, Ganesa, Subramanya, Venkatachalapathy, Laxmi & Anjaneya
A Manimandapam to honour the memory of late Paramacharya of Kanchi
A Vedapadasala
A dispensary to provide medical help
An eye clinic
